About CommBriX

About CommBriX

Who We Are

CommBriX is an independent product evaluation firm serving B2B buyers, procurement teams, and brand managers across World. We help sourcing professionals make better product decisions — before committing to a supplier or placing a bulk order.

Our work is built on one core belief: most product problems are discovered too late. A sample may pass compliance testing and still fail in the hands of real customers. CommBriX exists to close that gap.

What We Do

We combine two complementary approaches into a single evaluation service:

VOC Insight — Outside-In Customer Review Analysis

Before any physical testing, we analyse thousands of real-world customer reviews to understand what buyers actually value, what they complain about, why they return or reject products, and where competitors win or lose. This gives you market intelligence grounded in real customer behaviour — not supplier claims.

Our Outside-In framework covers 10 structured checkpoints: customer profile, usage scenarios, satisfaction drivers, negative and positive review signals, purchase motivations, unmet needs, and actionable takeaways.

Hands-On Validation — Inside-Out Product Testing

We physically test your sample across the full customer experience journey — from first impression and unboxing through ease of use, core function validation, and routine use and care. Our Inside-Out framework covers 11 structured checkpoints across four stages.

Together, these two frameworks drive one outcome: Better Decisions — whether to Buy, Improve, Compare, Renegotiate, or Reject.

Why Choose CommBriX

  • Objective & Neutral — No sponsorship, no sales agenda. Hands-on, evidence-based testing with honest recommendations — even when the answer is "No".
  • Faster Decisions — We compress a 30-day decision cycle to 7 days. Sample access in 1–2 days, evaluation and reporting in 3–5 days, with no international shipping delays before testing.
  • Risk Reduction — We systematically identify product risk (quality, usability, reliability), customer risk (complaints, negative reviews), return risk (refunds, after-sales costs), and inventory risk (slow-moving stock from bad bulk orders).
  • Lower Total Cost — Pay only when needed. Pay-as-you-go credits, IT/AI-assisted workflows, and localised testing eliminate global validation overhead.

How It Works

From first contact to final report — a simple, secure, and transparent process:

  1. Register & Sign NDA — ~1 hour. Your product data is protected from day one.
  2. Submit Your Evaluation Plan — ~1 minute.
  3. Send Your Sample — 1–3 days to our evaluation team.
  4. Customer Review Insight — Delivered within 2 days.
  5. Review-to-Test Validation — Completed within 1 week.
  6. Receive Your Report — Full UX Evaluation Report delivered within 1 week total.

ABOUT COMMBRIX

Buying from China shouldn't be a guess.

CommBriX is a Netherlands-registered product research team with people on the ground in China. We check what a listing cannot tell you, before the money is committed.

HOW IT STARTED

The product worked. It just did not work for the customer

That gap is the reason this company exists. It comes out of eight years inside international e-commerce, on both the selling side and the sourcing side.

  • 2018

    Marketplace operations

Running stores and value-added services on Alibaba.com and AliExpress: listings, cross-border fulfilment, promotions. The daily work of selling out of China into other people's markets.

  • 2022

    International retail, Alibaba Group

Responsible for international retail and e-commerce business inside the group. Two complaints kept surfacing from local sellers everywhere: sourcing they could actually trust, and no way to tell whether a product would work for their own customer before the order was placed.

  • 2024

    Tooling, and the Bol.com plan

As the AI tooling matured we built an intelligent-platform proof of concept around the same problem. Designing and implementing the China Sourcing Plan for Bol.com, the Dutch marketplace, is what turned the method into something a client could run.

  • 2025

    CommBriX founded

The company started in Hangzhou with the two halves joined: China sourcing and product evaluation on one engagement, arriving as one written answer. Customised work began for customers in Dubai, Belgium and the Netherlands.

  • 2026

    Still developing

CommBriX is not a finished product. The team, the testing method and the report format keep changing with each category we take on, and each market we sell into.

HOW WE WORK

Three rules we hold to

They are boring on purpose. They are also the reason a client can act on what we send.

Evidence, or say nothing

A finding needs a photo, a measurement, a sample or a visit behind it. Where we could not check something, the report says that too.

Written to be acted on

You get something you can put in front of a product and finance meeting: what we saw, what it means, what we would do next.

On the buyer's side of the deal

The brief comes from the buyer and the report answers to that decision. We do not take work from the factory being assessed.

WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH

You talk to the people who do the checking

The founders came out of international e-commerce and the operations around it: Alibaba.com, AliExpress in Europe, ByteDance, Huawei, Accenture, FedEx. Marketplaces, cross-border retail, hardware testing, supply-chain work and parcel economics, seen from both the selling side and the sourcing side.

There is no account layer. The person who takes your brief is the person who handles the product and writes the report, which is why what you get reads like a purchasing brief rather than a marketing one.

We do not publish staff photos yet. On the first call we tell you by name who will run your brief, and you can ask for a reference call before you commit.

Where the team came from

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

As defining as what we do

Boundaries are how an independent researcher stays independent. Saying them early saves everyone a call.

We do not sell supplier lists

A contact is only useful once someone has stood in the factory and checked what they actually make.

We are not a trading company

We do not buy, hold or resell goods. The purchase contract stays between you and the supplier; we supply the evidence around it.

We do not work in fashion or beauty

Our method depends on physical products that can be tested, measured and re-run.

We do not promise a positive answer

Sometimes the useful output is "do not place this order". That is a complete answer, not a failed one.

Where we are

Contracts and invoices are issued by CBX LABXR B.V. — KvK 99743558, VAT NL869114517B01, registered in Amsterdam — the Dutch entity behind CommBriX, while the research team is resident in Hangzhou. Both numbers are public: check them against the KvK and VIES registers before you sign anything.

NEXT STEP

Tell us what you are trying to decide

Tell us the category, the target customer and what worries you most.

We answer with what we can honestly verify, how long it would take, and what it costs.

No sales queue: the enquiry form reaches the founders, and the person who replies is the person who does the work.

Customer evidence. Real experience. For a better decision.
