Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about CommBriX UX Evaluation — from how credits work to what happens after your report is delivered.

1. Service Positioning & Value

  • SGS / TÜV test for safety and compliance (electrical, materials, certification).
  • CommBriX UX evaluates real-user experience (unboxing, functionality, workmanship, scenarios).
  • They complement each other: compliance gets you on the shelf, UX keeps you from bad reviews.
  • First-time purchase from a new supplier.
  • Past complaints like “hard to use” or “poor packaging”.
  • Comparing samples from multiple suppliers.
  • Entering a new market with unknown user preferences.
  • A competitor was taken down due to poor UX.
  • Identify bad review risks early – catch “anti-user” designs before launch.
  • Persuade suppliers with data – not “I think”, but “the report shows”.
  • Compare samples objectively – side-by-side performance across suppliers.
  • Avoid market mismatch – identify localization risks.
  • Get actionable improvement suggestions – specific parameter adjustments, not vague comments.

No.We only provide objective test data, key findings, and risk notes.

You make the final purchasing decision. We do not give composite scores, “recommend” or “avoid” conclusions.

Typical consequences:

  • skyrocketing return rates,
  • accumulated bad reviews,
  • brand rating drop,
  • inventory backlog.

One UX evaluation costs €99 or €299 – while a wave of bad reviews can cost thousands or tens of thousands of euros.

Friends / internal testers VS CommBriX UX

  • Social bias – may hesitate to tell truth
VS Independent, anonymous experts – only truth
  • Ad-hoc testing, not repeatable VS Structured tasks – repeatable & comparable
  • No quantitative data VS Records error count, time, specific friction points
  • No process documentation VS Systematic image records – fully traceable
  • No side-by-side comparison VS Same standard across multiple samples

2. Report Content & Format

2.1 What is included in the report? Is there a composite score?

No composite score. The report includes:

  • Key findings (pros / cons)
  • Test summary (# of experts, tasks, duration)
  • Dimension performance (unboxing, function, workmanship, scenarios, etc.)
  • Improvement suggestions (actionable)
  • Systematic test process images (fully traceable)

No.

The report is fully standardized to ensure comparability and consistency.

You chooseStandardorAdvancedservice – the format is fixed, only depth differs.

Yes.

We provide complete test process images via our online system, including unboxing, workmanship details, key operation steps, and scenario test photos.

3.1 Who are your testing experts? What is the team background?

Our professional evaluation team consists of:

  • 5+ years average experience – core members previously worked at testing labs, crowdsourcing platforms, or QC departments of top e-commerce companies.
  • Multi-category coverage – five dedicated teams: consumer electronics, home & kitchen, beauty & personal care, baby & maternity, sports & outdoors.
  • Standardized certification – all experts have passed internal “UX Evaluator” certification, covering task breakdown, error identification, and scoring consistency.
  • Anonymous evaluation principle – experts do not know the product source or client information.
  • Continuous calibration – monthly control sample retests to ensure consistent evaluation standards.

We do not accept external expert selection, but you may note your focus areas and we will assign the most suitable team members.

5.1 How do credits work? What does 1 credit represent?

1 Credit = Full evaluation of one physical sample (including report, test process images, data analysis, and improvement suggestions).

  • Each credit applies to one physical sample, not a product SKU or category.
  • If you source the same product from multiple suppliers (e.g., three different factories for Bluetooth earphones), each supplier’s sample requires its own credit.
  • This ensures every report reflects the actual unit you intend to sell, not a generic product category.

You may purchase multiple credits as needed. For each sample evaluation, you also choose Standard service (€99/credit) or Advanced service (€299/credit).

Standard-€99(per Credit)

• 2 experts, basic function & unboxing
• ~1,000 user review data points
• Standardized basic report + process images

Advanced-€299(per Credit)

• Includes scenario testing (real-use simulation)
• Larger data volume (tens of thousands)
• 3 experts, all 7 test dimensions
• Full report + improvement suggestions + risk notes + process images

Notes:

  • Standard is suitable for quick insight into basic experience and common feedback.
  • Advanced is for deep purchasing decisions, high-risk products, or detailed scenario validation.
  • All prices are exclusive of tax where applicable.

Customer pays.Alternatively, you may arrange for the supplier to ship directly to our testing facility (then the supplier bears the cost).

Our timeline starts upon sample receipt.

  • Standard :1-3 business days after sample receipt.
  • Advanced: 3-5 business days after sample receipt.

Before testing begins, we provide written scope of service, deliverable list, and report template.

  • No refunds (testing is customized and irreversible).
  • One free targeted supplementary analysis – if you find a dimension unclear or need deeper investigation, we arrange the original experts to provide supplementary analysis and update the report.
  • If we miss any agreed test item, we supplement for free.

No.We only offer the two standardized services above (per credit). We do not accept single-function tests or any form of discounted custom service below €99.

6. Follow-up Services (Improvement Suggestions, Sourcing Assistance)

check_box

6.1 Can you help me improve my product?

We provide written improvement suggestions only.

We do not implement changes.

We have supply chain sourcing capabilities (supplier sourcing, negotiation, order follow-up).
However, to ensure testing impartiality, sourcing service is completely independent from UX testing:

  • You must receive the UX test report before deciding to engage our sourcing assistance.
  • Sourcing service has a separate agreement and fee structure.
  • Any sourcing request does not affect test results.
